Suiting up, exploring all sides of a topic in Chinese or Russian websites, debating, shouting, convincing others that my country is right, even though my resolution breaks six fundamental human rights. Stepping into the shoes of a United Nations delegate, ambassador or chair had been a two-year-long habit I was not ready to quit. All the excitement that struck me after finding out about my confirmed departure to Canada slowly turned into a constant odd bittersweet feeling when I realized it meant abandoning my family, my friends, my bed and, most importantly, the dream Mehdi and I had since grade ten of organizing the second edition of AMMUN. But, as you can tell, neither 9000 kilometers nor nine hours of time difference were enough of an obstacle to stop us from working together to offer you the unique experience of “The Dystopic Anticipation” AMMUN. I am extremely excited to blend into this universe with every single one of you during three memorable and enriching days. See you soon and good luck with your preparations!
