It took me a bit of bravery to stand up and defend my position in front of other delegates arguing the exact opposite. I couldn’t let fear stop me from saying whatever I think. So I started using that bravery in each conference I attended, defending each country I had. Indeed, I’ve experienced various roles: staff, delegate, chair to become President of The General Assembly. I’ve lived some unforgettable moments during these MUNs and will be forever grateful for all the benefits they gave me. Beside the MUN, I am a very active person in my normal life, practicing swimming, basketball, and chess, which I consider as a mental sport. This sport really helped me in my studies and developed my creative thinking. In fact, during each game, the players need to imagine what will happen with each possible move on the board and then quickly come up with new strategies on the fly. Also, I’ve specialized my self in this sport, winning many national titles. To conclude, I’ve always believed in this quote: « It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it ».
